The research unit “Magmatic and Hydrothermal Systems” (MuHS) at GEOMAR has a number of laboratories for the detailed investigation of volcanic and magmatic rocks and ores. In addition, MuHS has vehicles for exploring the seabed and drones for mapping and monitoring volcanoes. The laboratories and equipment are assigned to our research unit, but are also used by other disciplines. Information on the most important laboratories will soon be available from this page.
